How to build certainty. How to know it is always there. How to take away the emotional component of uncertainty. How to use now this certainty in each moment to enter into the worlds of being that are the openings in consciousness you are journeying through.

In order for a canoe to glide easily through the water, it is helpful to minimize the weight being carried by the canoe. In metaphysical terms heavy emotions are the excess baggage which must be discarded before taking off downstream. Then there is the water that you are travelling through. Is it clear or muddy? Is the current steady or moving from side to side?

Now understand the sea of vibration and its effects on you. Understand the breaking away from the current and the allurements of the current. The familiar often tempts us to remain where we are regardless of the pain it causes because of the entropy built into this decaying harmony.

Harmony or vibration is all around us, in and through us. Our thoughts but echoes of these vibrations that we can somehow move according to the will of the One.

Yes there is only One Thing. The following is from the Emerald Tablet of Hermes. Search online for the full text:
"True without Falsehood, Certain and most true, that which is above is as that which is below and that which is below is as that which is above in the performance of the miracles of the One Thing. As all things are from one, so all things have their birth from this One Thing by adaptation.
The Sun is its Father. The Moon its Mother. The Wind carries it in its belly. Its Nurse is the Earth. This is the Father of all perfection. Its Power is Integrating if it be turned into Earth."

.......................................
From JJ Slim's newest CD "Deeper Meanings" A Song called "In the Garden There."

---"In my reflection to myself from my soul, the river of life pours out its sound.
Imagination, mystery source, what once was lost now is found.
Stand in the pool with the queen and fool and watch how the earth fills its holy name.
Recognize the voice as it comes back from somewhere and your thoughts are growing
In the Garden There.
Don't you know there is only One Thing. Don't you know there is only One Thing,
Don't you know there is only One Thing, And it's You.-------------------------

CD isn't finished yet but soon.

The truth cannot be spoon fed nor cannot it be bought and sold like every other commodity. Inside yourself you make the decision to listen and then you know the Unity of Being. Forget about all the arguments of any religion. Anything which does not serve the One thing is by definition illusion. You transform the world by transforming your world. It all begins and continues with You. The analogy with Ice and Water and two forms points part of the but the One Thing has nothing to do with forms. It isn't the form, it is the Being. You mention no one responding to you but you could not be further from the truth when you feel not a part of this. For everyone who does respond there are twenty others listening in and learning from your questions even if it is to inspire more questions of their own. Your questions prove you are absolutely on the right path. I mention this as encouragement and thanks for your questions in these moments now. Continue always. It is One thing and its You.

Be sure to stoke the coals of the inner awareness frequently. In this way the pathways remain accessible and you do not have to clear away the darkness each time. In a sense you leave yourself a beacon to return to and add to the expression of the experience.

  • Finish What You Start

  • It is incredible what you can do when you are surrounded by perfection. You can actually tie into the moment and stretch your wings of faith throughout in order to fill this moment. The enormity of the manifest creation can be overwhelming. Every opening is able to be felt first within and then there is the outflow.
  •
  •  Ignore the inertia and proceed as if everything were in order. The way and the means will come as long as the flow is maintained by your attention. In this way there is a defintie purpose revealed throughout every part of the unfolding. The intensity that is worked out is a proven thing. You must get over the time oriented revelation. In order to experience timelessness, act as though time is not.

  • The instantaneous realization of self produced thought processes is only known by the observer in the field of awareness. The actor can do nothing but play a part. You can therefore make it necessary to produce each moment by reawakening the mind in subtle stages one by one. The making of this type of energy is pure.
At each step there is coherence with the whole. At a certain point there is a shift where the mind is enveloped by the called forth reality. It experiences inner knowing. This inner knowing has correspondences to where you are and what you are seeing. Your thinking activates these energies but is not the inner substance out of which they are made. To know this we have to look deeper into the absolute nature of composite reality.

  • It is during the midst of this outward flowing reality that all spontaneity is experienced. Going with the flow then become what it the most natural way to understand these functions as they occur of themselves. Remember we are building the inner corridors which form the suprastructure of consciousness. Each time you are able to get through to substantiate your presence it rises to the highest level of the moment. There is continued work to be done which is why the grand architect always is in movement and is always perfectly at rest.

Rise up into the highest and then operate from there keeping your focus on the most high. It is there that all things that are come, come from.

The knowledge of Kabbalah came into existence the moment man first became self aware. This self awareness was of his own thought process. When meanings suddenly became important and the correlation between his thoughts and the world around him were gradually and increasingly becoming self-evident. In Genesis man has a complete knowledge of Kabbalah at the beginning as his thoughts and the thoughts of his creator are one thought. There is no distinction until one is made via the serpent knowledge or the knowledge of the body. Man's focus on the body produces the split mind referred to in A Course in Miracles. This split mind begins to deny the existence of the unity of oneness between man and God. Along the way various personages reawake this unity from Seth to Enoch to Noah but then not again until Abram discovers this unity and becomes Abraham.

We read in Genesis 14 of the mysterious king Melchizadek who meets Abram
  • 18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine; and he was priest of God the Most High.

  • 19 And he blessed him, and said: 'Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Maker of heaven and earth;
  • 20 and blessed be God the Most High, who hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand.' And he gave him a tenth of all.

  • "This Melchizadek, King of Salem, priest of God Most High...is, as his title denotes, king of justice and also king of Peace; who is without … origin...this Melchizadek dwells as a Priest in perpetuity." Note also that the priesthood of Melchizadek consisted in the offering of bread and wine.

  • This was following a victory over all the enemies of Abram where Abram was able to recover Lot who had been captured by these enemies. These enemies turn out to be symbolically the anger, fear, doubts, uncertainties which beset the mind in search of itself. Melchizadek offers peace and the elevation of mind resulting from this peace symbolized by the bread and wine. What is really offered is the knowledge of the conversation within and the way to be self aware fostering the unity between God and man. This age old wisdom comes about only after Abram has struggled within and now begins to understand what is going on. Melchizadek is therefore the symbol of the calm or stasis reached after the soul continues to receive this wisdom. Continuing on to the elevation of Abram to Abraham somewhat later:
  • Gen 17: 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for the father of a multitude of nations have I made thee.

  •    The light of Kabbalah serves to unify the thoughts into the higher realms of unity. Self awareness occurs as the soul realizes its own oneness within its thinking. Then there is the realization of the dominion of highest thought over descending levels of thought. These nations or multitude of nations are the conceptual realities built up through the continuing thought process. Groups of like ideas unify, spurring further unity of these concepts until the whole is realized in totality. This process is ongoing in the Torah. It turns out that the entire purpose of creation is to inculcate this knowledge within the beings of creation. The energy of awareness can be compared to the rising sap of a tree which continually overflows causing all the growth in its season of every part of the tree. Kabbalah is the process that is continually discovered and recovered. After Abram is circumcised, or after he is cut off from his negative thinking, he ascends to be "father of many nations" or to have the consciousness of his own thinking including the knowledge of the various levels of that thinking. To his name is added the Heh being the second Heh of YHVH symbolized by Briah. Sarai becomes Sarah having also a Heh added to her name, which is the second Heh of YHVH symbolizing Assiah the world of Form. It is through this elevation that this couple is able to reproduce a child where they had been childless before.
At the time of the Israelites slavery in Egypt they had all but forgotten their heritage safeguarded by Jacob whose last wish is to take his bones to the cave at Machepelah where Abraham and Issac are buried. What he is speaking of is to make sure that the knowledge that was passed to him is safeguarded so that in the "promised land" the people could live by it. His body is embalmed by the Egyptians, meaning he is speaking of the knowledge of Kabbalah that is in Egypt as well. This is not limited to his understanding but to the knowledge of the entire length and breadth of Kabbalah itself, the ability to receive and raise thought to its highest place within.
This is why Moses the first born does not lose his life and the other first born are slain. These other first born are the thoughts that do not come from or go to unity. They cannot survive in this Egypt because the knowledge of Kabbalah has been lost to all but the redeemer Moses. The thoughts that he represents are nurtured by the wisdom of the Egyptian priests who Moses studies with. Moses realizes he is Hebrew and heir to the Kabbalah that has always been. His "People" are his thoughts brought into form and when one of his thoughts is "stifled or whipped" by the taskmaster,(the ego) he kills in the interest of preserving the growing knowledge of Kabbalah within him. He retains the Egyptian knowlege but following his sojourn with Jethro the Midian priest, he has gained understanding of the "true Kabbalah" taught to Abraham, Issac and Jacob. It is this knowledge he comes face to face with at the burning bush and the conversations with God. Self awareness is blossoming in Moses. The burning bush is a soul on fire with connection, beyond the bodily distractions and in a world where everything is possible. He can do nothing else but share this information with his people, the thoughts that have been growing with him and yearning to be free of the body. These thoughts are to undergo the same transformation as Moses.
  •    So it is in these interpretations of what Kabbalah is. It is about your thinking, your relationship to who you are and what you are in the world around you. Kabbalah teaches us the finely tuned adjustments we have to make in order to live and move and have our being in and throughout our self awareness.

  • The synthesis of ideas following the intention for unity in all things brings forth remarkable and yes expected results.

  • Truth, Creator, Jesus Mind, The One, all can be compared to the Lead in a song where harmonies are sung. The Lead voice is the dominant character of the Song. If any of you has tried to sing harmony you know that in order to do so you are always singing your note in relationship to the lead note of the harmony or chord. In order to stay in tune your note must resonate with that lead note to produce the beautiful relationship its tone and the lead make together. If you identify too much with the Lead note you'll lose your focus and start singing the Lead instead of the Harmony and thereby lose that relationship which produces the sympathetic sound of two notes in Harmony. The Harmony note is a kind of lead that lives in its own realm but only so because of its relationship to the Lead. Its role or gift is to make the Harmony with the Lead note. This Harmony goes through every change that the Lead goes through only the relationships to those changes (as in Chord Changes) are in their own space producing the Harmony which can by the way change according to the voicing (relationships between notes--which are relatively consonant-pleasant to the ear or dissonant--unpleasant to the ear--More on consonances and dissonances later on).
  • So too it is with our relationship to the One, the Creator, Truth, etc. When we are listening well we are in harmony with the Creator, our voice a complement to the One Song constantly being sung, adding our own special focus which produces the harmony of life.

  • When we remember to keep this focus our lives coorespond to the beautiful harmonies we hear in music. Things go right. The way is smoothed. Everything is made to harmonize with the Creator thought. Distractions come along but we keep to our harmony voice, to who in essence we are. We do not have to become the Creator or Creator like or sing the Lead. All we need pay attention to is to be ourselves and more of ourselves in every moment to produce that harmony note which together with our attention reinforces the harmony of our lives. How to do this is the point. There is a way just for you to remain who you are and not be sent off key by the "outside external world." It is enough to just be you listening always for the good which surrounds you and harmonizing with it.
  •    Back our musical analogy. Music passes through stages of consonance and dissonance. In most cases the dissonance is purely for the drama of returning to consonance. As a composer the primary goal of any song is to begin with the One (Root chord) and then by a series of changes simple or elegant return to the One. This returning to the One produces a feeling of satisfaction or peace. The music having gone through changes akin to emotions within the song which then is resolved before usually setting out again on the same type of journey through dissonance and consonance. Sometimes there are movements which are within this journey containing elements of resolution and change. All of this makes the song interesting which if ideally connected with the words in the song complete the thought. The song always knows where its going. The direction never changes. There is always the resolution.
  • Yes it is true that some kinds of music do not resolve completely for the purposes of demonstrating chaos or chaotic thinking. This type of music represents the mind in a state of chaos, going here and there but never resting, never reaching the goal of peace.
  • Back to the flow of our lives. It is like knowing the end of a movie will resolve. So too we will always have resolution in our lives by remembering that the One is always there for us to harmonize to. We harmonize by letting go of the dissonance in our lives which is symbolized by our chaotic thinking. Listen for the harmony note which changes your mind. Be active in your listening. Be always active for every good thought you can hear. These "good thoughts" are in the form of affirmations, prayers, thinking well of others, thinking well of yourself, contemplating nature, whatever your particular gift is that gets you thinking these "good thoughts." The primary quality of these "good thoughts" are that they bring you peace, place you in harmony with the One Thought.

  • Another musical analogy. This one having to do with Rhythm. Lately I've been thinking about how the flow of life works perfectly when we trust it completely. That is when we know that we can reach up and receive good thoughts. Have you ever tried to keep time musically? Perhaps when dancing or tapping your foot to a song. It's pretty simple yet for some it is difficult because any distractions can interrupt concentration of cause a beat to be missed. This can happen when listening to a song which you have heard repeatedly but usually your familiarity will produce an unconscious natural rhythm with the tune being played. It is another story when you are trying to sing or play with others. The time is set by the drummer yet all equally share the focus of "keeping the time." If someone rushes then there is a temptation to change the time. A good drummer locks the groove in but it is still up to each player to keep time. Using the guitar as an example when playing rhythm or lead the keeping of time changes in perspective. As a rhythm player you have to keep in synch with the drummer and Bass Player ignoring the temptation to emulate the various rhythmic changes in the lead being played. Reaching a common groove is the goal of the rhythm section. The Lead player, in this case the lead guitar still must keep the time. In order for a lead to soar it has to make sense rhythmically. If the rhythm isn't taken into account by the lead player, then again while the notes must be in synch, so too must the rhythms all fall into place together in order to produce the pulse that is the music. Keeping this focus allows the 'band' to cook within the groove because it is the one of their consciousness of the moment that is the musical expression. Beginning, middle and end ideally all are playing together. The result is a musical expression that plays not only in harmony note by note but beat by beat. There is also consonance and disonance of a type found in the notes. Certain rhythmic phrases are more disconcerting to the basic groove. They play against the groove offering the illusion of space in the groove and the possibility that the groove will be somehow broken. Rhythmic tensions also will be resolved. The exercise through rhythm mirrors our own way of living. Here is how.
  • Listening is the groove and our thoughts are various tensions that affect the groove. Our facility in our lives is mirrored by our facility in navigating the rhythms of our mind. It is why the importance is stressed for the person to "Know thyself." It is not only your thoughts in the moment but the flow of your thinking that can be consciously attended to. Through practice-repeated effort, you can go from a "negative reactive mind," to a positive active mind which knows itself and can reach up at will to lift itself out of the pools of inertia created by unconscious living.

Free will. It is a state of mind whereby the eternal present fills our awareness completely. We let go of everything. Now requires nothing only our sense and identification with Being.

Forget about what "Kabbalah" teaches unless you have received this teaching internally, tested it within your own life and processed it through your own heart.
"Kabbalah" says nothing unless it says it to you in your own unique way of listening. It is your own understanding that makes up the "Kabbalah" of your life.
No other teaching about "Kabbalah" will do. The truth of "Kabbalah" is what you are listening to. Listen and watch your thinking.
In order to get the most out of "Kabbalah" it is helpful to realize that "Kabbalah" is a process and not a religion, and not tied to Judaism, or the Torah, but belongs to Life itself and is a name for the way to understand who you are and why you are. You make "Kabbalah your own by using what rings true within yourself to develop your own way. "Kabbalah" can be used to study the Torah and much of our knowledge of "Kabbalah" began with the discovery of the unity of thinking that evolves from Torah study. However "Kabbalah" or the process whereby our thoughts are made conscious have a much greater role than mere scholarship.
What you can do is to change the focus of your listening so that your thoughts are harmonized with Light or Right Understanding. The good that is yours for the asking is the good you are listening to or for. You are right to mistrust every definition that does not ring true within yourself. There is Truth in your Innate Being. When Truth is sounded your Innate Being answers in harmony giving its own harmonic response that only you know. It is the sound of Verification. This sound is only heard in the Now.
